I am not participating in this year’s Knit/Crochet Blog Week, but reading all my friends’ posts has lead me to realize a few things about myself:
1. My favorite overall crafting tool is boring – it’s my spreadsheet program. It really does save me SO much time when designing though. Also, does yarn count as a tool? Because then I’m significantly less boring.
2. I am probably going to break down and by a spinning wheel soon. Thanks a lot, All She Wants to Do is Knit. π
3. My stash listing on Rav is seriously out of date.
4. I knit a whole lot of different colors, but almost all of the garments I knit are either blue or green.
5. My projects listΒ is shockingly lacking in colorwork.

No not boring at all. I thought I was boring with my needles and hooks! Not many people will say spreadsheets (non that I have seen!) Blues and greens are a hazard of our colouring I am afraid!

Yeah, I certainly don’t mind wearing lots of blue and green. If it looks good, it looks good. I just worry I’m boring!

Hmm I think you worry too much. Looking at your designs I think not! Believe in yourself π

I think color work is something I want to tackle in the next year.
Also, you’re welcome.

Haha you’re a bad influence. π I like colorwork, and I’m not bad at it. That’s why I’m so surprised there’s so little of it in my projects list.

I don’t thinks its boring. I listed the internet and my i pad as my favorite tools. Its unbelievable how much knitting has grown in the last 10 years and I think a lot of that has to do with the internet.
Spreadsheets aren’t boring I wish I were better at my computer.

I agree, I think the internet has had a lot to do with the spread of knitting, at least in countries where it wasn’t already assumed that people know how to knit.
